Ryland got to sit in the fire truck at the easter egg hunt today. He was not to sure about it . When the fireman started talking to him he got really nervous and started to cry. That adventure did not last long and he was no longer interested.

Easter Egg Hunt

Ryland and the Easter Bunny

So Thursday night about 5 pm my husband decides he wants to leave a day early to go to California. We were suppose to leave Friday night. Well as we never leave when planned , we left thursday night about 8 pm. It is a 11 hour drive to Sacremento from our house. we perfer to drive all night because then Ryland will sleep the whole trip. As of 5 pm thursday night , i had nothing ready, so we packed, ate dinner and headed out. We finally arrived Friday morning about 6:30 am. It was not a bad drive,but a very long one. Yesterday we caugtht up on sleep all day and hung out. Today we went to the Trails Annual Easter Egg Hunt.( thier nieghborhood) Their whole neighborhood makes up the town they live in Cool, CA. Ryland and Joey had so much fun. A fire truck came and the kids got to play in it. Ryland did not like the fire truck to much, he would rather play on the slide. Well tomorrow for easter , kristina(sister-n-law) planned an easter egg hunt here at the house and she is going to make a big dinner. So that is how we are going to spend our easter.Ryland is just excited about the candy. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!!!!!

last night we went to Johnny Rockets with some friends for dinner. Ryland and Mia were playing so good. HE got this hat and would not take it off for the rest of the night and he usually never wants to wear hats. so i had to capture him in it.

Update on ZOE?????

So as everyone knows we have officiall named our baby girl, Zoe Rae, but we have not officially named our baby BOY! you heard me right BABY BOY!!! well i had a doc appt. yesterday to make sure everything with the baby is going good. Also the biggest part of the appt that i was excited about was that on this 3rd try my doc. could reassure me that it was a girl. If you had read old posts you know what i mean, if you have not stop here and read older posts about the last couple doc. checkups i have had and then continue reading this one. anyways. he was doing the ultrasound and the baby was not cooperating as usual. all i could think of was that he was going to send me home again, still not sure of the sex of the baby, just that he could not see any BOY parts. He tried for about what seemed like an hour but was only 5 min. and then shook my stomach trying to get the baby to move, (which has never worked in past ultrasounds!!) well about 5 seconds of shaking my stomach, my doc gave me a grin and said IT'S A BOY!!!!!! i looked at him and just started laughing. at that point the baby spread eagle and there it was !!!! he was finally proud of himself to show it off and boy did he ever. i have a hard time understanding the pics of the ultrasounds as it is and he put himself in plain view. so no more ZOE (we will have to save that name for the next baby. ) So another conversation starts on boy names. this one may take awhile. it took us about 3 months to name ryland, hopefully this will not be to hard.

today we went to GG's house to play. i had Butch and Ryland with me.(i am babysitting my 2nd cousin while his grandma and grandpa are in Hawaii) Ryland and Butch were in the playroom and Ryland yells, "look what i am wearing!!" all we could think of is what the heck did he get into. well when he finally made it out to the living room he had put on my grandpas cowboy boots. they were so cute he wore them for the next hour or so, saying.... look at me!! the other pic was taken a couple nights ago while we were hanging in the backyard by the fire.

Potty Training

Well i decided while my family is away in Hawaii and i would have nothing to do, i would potty train Ryland. Let me say it is going much better than i anticipated. I have had people tell me it takes 3 days of going nowhere to really get him going. So i started Wednesday after school. I have heard they need to watch Elmo's Potty time video and luckily he has been watching it since Christmas. Then my sister found these cool potty watches. they have timers every 30, 60, or 90 minutes that play music and light up when the timer goes off. Well potty watches arrived last Monday. Ryland was so excited to wear it, (i ordered blue for Ryland and pink for Madisen) So we put the blue one on, hiding the pink one because he loves pink, and then somehow we did not hide the pink one hard enough because he comes running in with the pink one... I wear the pink one!!!! he repeated and repeated. i go along to tell him that it is Madisen's and he has to wear the blue one. After about 20 min. of arguing he finally wanted the blue one. Then it was time for the timer to go off...... we waited and waited and nothing happened. the blue watch is broken , completely broken will not even turn on anymore. So we decided to let him wear the pink one and you can all guess what happened..... I want the blue one , the pink one is Madisen's!!! so needless to say he hates the potty watch and wants nothing to do with it!!!! So anyways. Wednesday it began. No potty watch used. I had a friend tell me that they need to go naked , no undies, pull ups or pants on. i was a little worried thinking there was going to be pee everywhere. Well needless to say we have only had 3 accidents. those accidents happened all when he had undies or shorts on. i figured out why they have to be naked, having pants or undies on gives them the feeling of having a diaper on and they just go. we have a a naked boy running around now for 3 days and everyone is grossed out. but hey it is working. today i decided that he has to learn at some point to go potty and not be naked all the time. so today is undies day at our house.so far so good, we will see what the day brings!!! i will let you know next week how the weekend went!!

Our baby girl!!

Well its official! our baby girl has a name. well actually she as had a name for about a month now, but we were not sure on the spelling of her name. WE finally agreed on a spelling and here it is...... Zoe Rae Hannah. That is if we go to the doc next week and he still predicts it is a girl. if you have not kept up with my blogs go back a couple and read about the last doc appt. He is still not sure after 2 ultrasounds if it is a boy or girl, but does not see any boy parts yet!!! So next week when i go back to doc hopefully we will find out if it is a girl for sure, because if it's a boy that brings up another conversation that may take a while.
