WE had a little easter egg hunt on sunday afternoon down at the park by our house for the kids. Our neighbors and roy's side of the family were there. The men went and hid the eggs while us women got the kids ready and then we slowly walked down to the park. I never knew it took so long to hide eggs for kids under the age of 5.... But it did!! We had a great Easter this year, although wished we could have been in Flagstaff visiting my sister with the rest of the Family :(

Well i am finally updating. i am not sure yet if i am going to catch up or start from here. So for now i am going to start current. On Easter Sunday my baby girl turned 1!!! She is getting so big. her 1 year check went as follows:

Weight : 19 lbs 14.5 oz 25%

( she gained less than a pound from her 9 month )

Length: 30 1/4 in 80%

Head 18 in. 75%

We had her party the weekend before, being that it was Easter on her birthday !!!

We also celebrated my niece Sydnee's birthday who turned 3.

Also my dad's, brother's and grandmas birthdays !!

Playing in Snow and Polar Express

On December 5, we drove up to Flagstaff and got to play in the snow (well, what was left of the snow then). We also went to ride the "Polar Express" train in Williams.

I think all the kids enjoyed themselves and had a great time. Even the adults had a good time too!

My sister has been in town a couple times this past month and we have definately been taking advantage of spending all our time with them when they are here. We played in the water had a fun Photo shoot with Zoe, and just hung out. here are some pics while they have been here!!

Zoe Rae finally made her debut!! She was born on Saturday April 24th at 7:15 pm. ( same day as my grandmas 80th birthday) She weighed in at 7 lbs. 6 oz and was 20.5 inches long. So far things have been great. She is a pretty easy baby so far, but we will see what happens when the boys are around. Here is the delivery story::

I was scheduled to be induced Friday morning. Unfortunately they did not have a bed ready. So we waited and waited... This same weekend my sister Cassi came in town for a weekend visit. So Saturday morning there was still no bed ready for me at the hospital, so we decided to All meet at my sisters and have a play date so all the kids could get together while Cassi was in town. About 2 o' clock i was jumping on the trampoline with the kids ( my sisters were convincing me that would put me into labor) the hospital finally calls and we are quickly on our way. I get to the hospital and get checked in and get situated in my room, when my doctor shows up. My grandma had made a small phone call to my OB to make sure that Zoe was born by midnight so that she could share a birthday with my grandma!! This would have been the 1st year my grandma would celebrate her birthday by herself, since her sister passed away last year and they shared the same birthday. So my doctor broke my water at 3 pm and started pit to help get contractions going. By 4 pm i had an epidural and was loving life!!! at 5:15 pm they checked me and i was only dilated to a 4. That meant i was only dilating 1 cm per hour. So we new we were in for the long haul. At 6:45 the nurse checked me again before shift change and i was at a 9.5 cm dilated. The doctor was called in and my sister made it about 5 minutes before the doctor. I pushed twice and Zoe was born at 7:15. What seemed like 5 minutes after they told me i was ready to go. Needless to say it was the fastest and easiest birth yet. She has been such a blessing and easy baby so far. Although i have not had my boys around yet to venture the feeling of having 3 kids around. The night that i delivered Zoe 7 of my family members came down with the flu :( Since then the flu has spread fast amongst my family and at this moment there are 15 members of my family down for the count with the flu including my 2 boys. So my boys have been at my in-laws so that myself and Zoe do not get sick. Roy is at my mother-n-laws house watching the boy until they get better along with my niece who was helping watch the boys all weekend. Zoe and I have been having some great bonding time together while everyone recuperates, but i definitely miss my boys. We had a great delivery and bad weekend with all the sickies, but are overall blessed with our little princess!!

For mine and my sisters Birthday weekend we took a MUCH needed GIRLS only trip to LAS VEGAS!!! there were a total of 18 girls that went and let me tell you, we had a great time. We stayed at my sisters house the first night and then the other 2 nights we stayed on the Strip. We ate and ate and ate!!! We hit up the Donny and Marie show, Carrot Top, and made it to a taping of the game show Lets Make A Deal. ( we will be on the show April 6, 2010, just in case you want to find us in the crowd) No one got picked to make a deal but we still had lots of fun. We walked almost the entire Strip on Sunday and did some shopping. In the end we had a great time and cant wait to plan another one!! Thanks everyone for coming and thank you to my sister for letting us crash at her house!!

so we have slowly been decorating Zoe's room. i think by the time i go into labor it will be done. I keep trying to get people to come over and con them into helping but no one buys it:( So last night after we did our new recipes i conned my mother-n-law and sister-n-law into helping me mod podge letters for her room. They turned out really good. Thanks Mary and Buffie for helping me!!

So my inlaws and i have started a tradition that we are going to do every week. One night a week we are going to try and make new recipes that we have never made before! We will have a theme each week and everyone will bring a small dish within the theme. We get together and cook for about 2 hours and then have a feast!! So last night was our first night. The theme was CHINESE!!

We made crab wontons and homemade sweet and sour sauce. Ginger chicken stir fry, vegetable fried rice and Chang Hi (however spelled) noodles. Everything was great. The pictures do no justice for how good it was... hope you enjoy!!

New years eve we had the neighbors over and had dinner and played games. It was lots of fun. Parker was out by 8:30 and The rest of us called it a night around 11:30pm. After the games the boys decided to go outside and an Airsoft Gun War.. Rob got hit in the forehead and bled a little. Roy finished with about 10 or so welts all over and taylor a shot in the bad place. if you know what i mean!!

Ryland , me, Jersie, Tracy and Phyllis all went to Disney on Ice last weekend. It was fun. Tinkerbelle lasted a little too long for Ryland and he got really bored and wanted to go home. He finished it out but was really excited to leave. The Cotton candy and cookies must have held him over a little bit!!

We celebrated with our annual family party. Kids had a great time and got great gifts. Also the food was good as always!! Christmas morning we headed to my moms for breakfast and presents. Then for lunch we had Roys family over.

So the first week in December we decided to take the journey to the North Pole on the Polar Express. We went up to Flagstaff early in the morning so we could have the day to spend in Williams before we got on the train. Unfortunately there was no snow to play in but it was still freezing cold. Parker hated to get bundled up every time we went outside. I do not know how people who live in the snow have to bundle there kids all the time!! it definitely was not the part we looked forward to every time we wanted to leave the hotel room. Thankfully we survived. That night we ate at the buffet at the Grand Canyon Hotel. It was just like having a 2nd Thanksgiving dinner!! We went on the 8 pm train, which did not actually leave til 8:30 pm and let me tell you that waiting outside in the cold and windy weather for 45 minutes with 2 little kids was not fun either. We finally made it on the train and got moving, Parker had fallen asleep 5 minutes before we boarded the train and slept the entire train ride. ryland was extremely tired and was a tad bit crabby the entire ride. All in all we had a pretty good time. Next time we will for sure consider the early train!! We left early the next morning as Williams and Flagstaff got a huge snow storm in the middle of the night and continued the next day. We did not want to get snowed in, so our trip was ended quickly.

Ryland had his 4th Birthday back in November. We decided to go to Red Mountain Park with Family and friends. That place is crowded on the weekends!! i think that was our 1st and last time doing that. Anyways we had a great time and Ryland got lots of great toys. Thank you everyone for coming!!

This is Parkers first professional shoot since he was born and he is 16 months already! oh well he is the second child. i can not image what will happen with the third! well we had a great time taking these photos. so as you all may now, my sister Cassi moved to Las Vegas about a month ago. My other sister tracy and her 2 girls along with me and my 2 boys and my mom took a ROAD TRIP to see her. Can you imagine- 4 kids under the age of 4 and 2 sisters and there mom all in 1 car for about 6 hours!!! That was a call for DISASTER!! well guess what, it was not actually that bad. no i am not just saying that because my mom and sister are going to read this, it really was not that bad. We made it 3 hours before we even stopped for our first potty break! then we made it the next 2.5 hours with no potty breaks. yeah for diapers and no drinks!! we had a great time hanging with my sister and her kids and hubby! we did not do to much exploring around vegas. lets face it, it looks just like AZ except for all the lights and people and thats only if you go to the strip. which who really wants to drag 6 kids to the strip?! well we did! we just saw the Bellagio water show and left. it was a little disappointing though. all that works getting the kids out of the carseats, putting them in strollers and potty breaks was not worth the 20 minutes of watching water shoot into the air. my kids and i enjoyed it, but there were some others worried there brother was going to fall in the water( Madi) and ones who did not care about the water at all ( jersie). anyways we had a great time give that we had 6 kids locked into house for 4 days! we did venture and go to the splash pad and the kids had a blast there. Also the best part is that i got to FLY home. I stayed a couple extra days and got to fly home!!! no road trip home for me! well i just want to say THANK YOU to my wonderful sister and her husband for opening up there house and letting all of us stay there. I think the next time we go we might all get our own HOTEL rooms. Even if we dont make that decision i think cassi and her hubby will ask us too!!!!!

Saturday night we had a date night. we were sitting at dinner thinking about were we should go next. we had a few errands to run but nothing really in mind of what to do. So what better to do with our time while we have a babysitter than to go to Home Depot and get stuff for projects at home. We ended up getting stuff to paint 2 walls and redo our dining room table in rustic black finish. so we painted a wall in the dining room red. then in the kitchen a blueish green color. it appears to be pretty blue in the picture. it has a tint of dark green in it, if u can picture that in your head. then we are still redoing the table so pictures will come later for that!! we managed to paint 1 coat of pink primer and 4 coats of the red during naps on Sunday and Monday and the kids spent the night at Roys sister Tuesday night while Roy and I stayed up til 1 am taping and painting our 1st coat of the blue. Then Wednesday I painted the 2nd coat before i had to get the boys. Thanks Roy for staying up late even though you had to go to work the next morning. Also thanks Buffie for keeping the boys so i could get it done in one shot...

we went to the lake with our friends DJ and dawn a couple weeks ago. we had a great time. we went tubing and swimming and just relaxed. Ryland and Mia tried to catch some ducks while they were swimming. needless to say they did not cash any:( we had a great time. a Bug Thank You to the Pratts for inviting us to go!!

i am so late on updating. so there is going to be alot. we went to my nieces bday party and had a great time. they had a huge water slide and 2 little pools to play in. the kids had a great time. then towards the end they broke out the water balloons. what a great party. this summer we have been swimming so much. this is what has helped us make it through the summer. thanks to our neighbors for letting us use there pool almost everyday!!! on this day we were swimming with all the neighbors and rob decided to make a waterfall for the kids. He would let the jacuzzi drain and then the kids would sit at the bottom and he would proceed to let all the water in and the kids thought it was so cool to have all the water fall on them... needless to say they had a blast doing it.. thanks Rob!!!

We had the great opportunity to go to Fiji and help with Homes Of Hope. We had a great time and miss it very much. If it were up to Roy we would be living there! we spent 10 days there doing lots of work and playing with all the great children. The kids love having people come and play with them and just run around. It is so much fun to see them play and all the moms just sit back and watch. There is so much love there, its incredible. It rains( what we call sprinkle) in Fiji everyday and it was so nice, its funny because it would be raining on the left side of you and be completely dry on the right side. Roy did alot of construction work( built beds, room dividers, cabinets) while i did a little bit of everything, painted rooms, watched kids, helped do dishes, cooked lunch and dinner, and hung out with all the girls there. Anyways on the last day and night we spent our time on the beach. we went to a resort and just lounged and did some shopping. in the end is was a great trip and i can not wait to go back!! Every day the girls spend three hours beading. This is one way they make money.They dig up there own clay and then shape it and fire it. they then make necklaces, bracelets, and earings to sell.

well once again Parker is my little dare devil. He will attempt anything and everything. This morning i was getting out of the shower to Parker screaming Horribly. As usual i did not react. He cries alot for no reason. Well after a few minutes i noticed why he was crying so bad. He got a hold of my flat iron and yes it was ON!!! So the result of this story (like you don't know) is that he burned the tips of 4 fingers and the bottom part of his thumb. Needless to say, he has been quite the grump today not only because his fingers hurt, but we have wrapped them up so he will not mess with them. There is always a lesson to be learned with every incident, hopefully he learned the word HOT!!

I never knew how much fun the kids could have with an upside down deflated pool. I was emptying the pool today and ryland go the hose out to help me water my plants. then decides to see if the pool will fill up while it is upside down. well it got about an inch of water and they had so much fun. All they wanted to do is run and fall down. Parker was laughing so much at ryland doing this that he figured how to do it as well. They always seem to find fun in anything rather than real toys!!!

ok pictures will have to come later. my husband got this new lens for his camera and loves to take pics in raw format. well anyone who knows cameras knows that blogger will not download pics in raw format, so as soon as he gets them fixed i will post them. wow i have not done this since junior high and high school. my nieces birthday was on fathers day, so monday she decided she wanted to go ice blocking for her b-day. So off to freestone park, they have the best hills. Needless to say we had a blast. Ryland loved it and Parker had a blast running around. The only bad part was i did not realize how much work it is to keep carrying the ice block back up the hill, even more i did not even get to ride down every time i carried it up, what a nice mom I am.

we celebrated Parkers 1st birthday last night. We had some family and friends over, ate dinner, played in the little pool , opened presents , had cake and then had a snowball fight!! it was lots of fun. the kids really enjoyed the pool and opening all his presents. This past weekend we drove up to Munds Park. Our friends have a cabin there and so we headed up with them for the weekend. Its kind of funny because he owns a neon sign shop, so there are lots of bright lights there, for instance, he has a huge clock with neon lights inside, and like 4 more huge signs in the garage that say his family name and so on. Ryland was so mesmerized by all the cool lights and how bug they were. He really got a kick out of it. So our plan was to hit up Out of Africa now that it has moved up to Camp Verde. We had tons of fun there. Ryland got to feed the giraffes and he loved it, he even fed them a biscuit right out of his own mouth. You take a bus tour when you first get there. The zebras and giraffes come right up to the bus. It is really cool. Well we had tons of fun!! here are some pics. I will upload more as soon as i get them off the other camera.

So i went grocery shopping to get all the deals with my coupons before the week ends. I went to Fry's, albertsons, and safeway. I got 6 kraft bbq sauces, 6 dial hand soap, 3 pretzel flipz, 6 kraft salad dressings and 4 packs of hot dogs. My total price paid for all 25 items........ $1.57!!! great deal i could not pass up!!!!

Tuesday night Parker was sick. He had been sick since Sunday, but there was a virus going around and did not think much else... Well Tuesday it got worse and we were directed from the nurse to take him to urgent care because he was getting dehydrated. So off we went. Kuddos go out to my MOM for watching Ryland and getting us much needed food!!! We arrived at Phoenix Children's Hospital Urgent Care( highly recommended) and they decided to give him an IV of fluids. He did 2 rounds of fluid, which took 1 1/2 hours. I felt so bad when they put the IV in him. Although I think that he was more mad because the nurse and i were holding him down, rather then being mad about a needle poking him. I asked a some what silly question..." Isn't he just going to pull that off?" the nurse replied with.. " No we tape it pretty good!" she was not kidding. We walked into the treatment room and there was about 50 pieces of tape cut and ready to be used!!! Anywayz.. we are getting are release papers and the nurse hears Parker cough.. She asked if he has croup!! Uhhh, no.. The doctor had asked us if he had a seal like barking cough and our reply was NO.. she proceeded to go get the doctor again,, sure enough he has croup cough as well. so back again with more waiting and more medicine and again more release papers. All in all we left after about 3 hours and my boy is still sick... He is eating and drinking, but still has the runny nose, flemmy cough and vomiting! YUCK!!

Sunday night we went to our friends house for dinner and to hang out. Well, from th pics u can see how much fun the kids had picking and jumping all over DJ!!! It started out with DJ just picking on the kids here and there and then turned into this!! Oh well, they all had fun and thankfully no one got hurt. Parker was happy just watching....

we went to my aunt shelleens house a while back and the kids got to ride the horses. Ryland was the only one excited about it, until we got outside and he saw them. He then said no. So brave Madisen went first. Then ryland got put on. He did not like it so much. Talon and Parker did not think to much of it, but thought it was pretty cool. Also a while back we went to the park with some friends and let the kids run around.

Ryland has not been feeling well this weekend. He has had a fever and pretty yucky cough. He just kind of lays around and does not do too much. Roy decided to get him a surprise since he has not been feeling well. Well as you can see in the picks, he started feeling much better!!!

2 sisters 1 heart 5K

today me, my sisters, mom, sister n law, and niece went and ran the the 5K for 2 sisters 1 heart. I have to admit i am in no shape to run a 5K. But after all we all did really good and i am glad we did it. We all finished in under an hour, which is amazing. my time was 49 min. for my first time, i think that is pretty good. Can't wait for the next one, maybe this will be our new hobby!!!!

Last week Roy's niece and her boyfriend came to visit from Washington. We planned to go to the wildlife world zoo and sedona. well everyone backed out of the zoo but we still decided to take the boys. we had a lot of fun and ryland ran around and was so excited to see all the animals. He even got to feed the giraffes and thought that was really cool. Then the next day we all headed to Sedona. It was extremely windy and cold there. But we walked around all the shops , got some home made fudge, and had lunch. It is always fun to spend the day in Sedona!!! Sorry there are no pics from sedona. it was to cold to take your hands out of your pockets to take a pic:(

Scottsdale Library

Roy has always went to the Scottsdale Library when he was little to run around and play. So we decide to take a family outing and go check it out. Behind the Library there are lots of fountains, grassy hills and a small pond with some ducks. We got there and Ryland took off running around adn checking everything out. It was so much fun. For we preschool we took a field trip to the fire station. We got there and they were on a call. SO we thought we would wait and let the kids run around for awhile. well after waiting for about an hour we decided we would leave. Bummer, i know, but we r going to try it again next week. As always christmas was tons of fun and very busy. It all started christmas eve with the family traditions. We had dinner, the nativity scene, and then Santa came. The kids loved it. Then christmas morning,we woke up opened presents and then headed to my moms house for breakfast, chocolate gravy and biscuits.( a very favorite family tradition). Opened more presents and then back home for lunch. Lunch was at our home with my in laws. There again we opened more presents. We did a white elephant exchange this year, i have to say it was quite fun and will become a new tradition for us. Then came dinner. We went to roys sisters house and had a big prime rib dinner and again opened more presents!!!! So as you can see our christmas was filled with lots of food and opening presents!!!! It was great. I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas and will have a happy new year!!!!!

Last weekend a friend of ours invited us to their cabin in Flagstaff. So we left Saturday Morning and returned that evening. It was pretty cold and there was tons of snow. I could not believe how much snow they got. Anyways they have a private lake in their community and there is a big hill on one side of it. so when it snows they use the hill for sledding. Ryland was not to sure of sledding at first. Roy went down with him the 1st couple times. We pretty much just grabbed ryland and pushed them down, while he was crying like crazy. after about the 4th time going down he wanted to go by himself. He absolutely loved it then. Parker went down to. HE showed no emotion what so ever. Maybe next year he will enjoy it better!!!

well i got an itch today to paint the playroom. We have a room under the stairs that is designated to toys only. It is the one room i do not care about. the kids can play and leave a mess and i do not care. I simply shut the door and do not have to see it. The first time i painted this room i did not have kids yet, i was pregnant and did not know the sex of the baby yet. So i painted it with a house and grass and flowers!!! Then i found out i had was going to have a boy. Still never changed it. Had another boy and contemplated changing it, since it was a little girly. So today was the day. I headed to Home Depot bright and early , hoping to have it all done before Roy got home from work tonight. Thankfully he does not get off work till 9 pm. I asked Cassi for some suggestions. I told her i wanted to paint stripes in boy colors. She suggested green. I thought to myself, I never thought about green. Good idea!! so we got all the supplies and away we went, Ryland and I that is. We did primer.... ok now ready for the first coat of the lighter green. WOW thats bright!!! The darker green will tone it down , right? Well i finally finished at about 5 pm. My mother-n-law walks in and her only words were WOW!!! I like it!! ( i think) well i am puling tape off and finishing up when i hear her say," Ryland your playroom looks like the guys shirt from Blues Clues!!" i stopped in my tracks and started laughing Hysterically.... Mary came in and asked what i was laughing about.. All i could say, "at least Ryland likes Blues Clues!!!" so i am finally finished and over the fact of what it resembles, just can't wait for Roy to see it. he has no idea i did it!!!!

The Zoo

For rylands 3rd birthday we went to the zoo. he had such a great time. he loved every animal he saw and wanted to touch them all. his favorite part was chasing all the birds. one big one came up to him while he was eating, lets just say he did bot want to chase that one! for dinner we took him and grandma to outback for their birthdays.( grandmas(roys mom) birthday was the day before rylands).

Last night my family came over and we took all the kids trick or treating. Although Ryland did not want to dress up nor wear his cowboy boots. Although he would not take them from Monday to Thursday, but of course the day that he needs to wear them he wants nothing to do with them. oh well we still had fun.....

Mother natures farm

On Monday, Parker and I went with Rylands preschool class to Mother Natures Farm. WE went on a tractor ride, fed the sheep, saw chickens, and saw the pigs. The kids also got to decorate there own pumpkins. We had lots of fun. It was an unexpected HOT day. Well i really don't know if it was unexpected, but it should be cooling off already. Right? anyways hopefully the weather will be nice soon.

Wee went to Schnepf Farms last week. The kids had a blast. We went to there annual Pumpkin and Chili Festival. We had dinner and went on lots of rides. To my surprise Ryland went on the roller coaster and bumble bees(to see pics of the kids on roller coaster, visit my sister, Cassi, blog). We also took the SPOOKY train ride. I think Ryland got a little scared, but said he liked it. We had a great time and will go back next year.

I just want to thank my mom and dad for all there help this weekend. Roy won a trip from work for a weekend in Sedona. FREE trip to Sedona, of course we are going to jump all over that one!!! I left the boys home with my mom and dad for the weekend. My gosh were they spoiled or what. Everyday i here something new about what Nana and papa let him do. I want to say THANK YOU so much. We had a wonderful weekend and Ryland talks about how much fun he had at Nanas and Papas and cant stop talking about it. HE loves his gun Papa got for him and Never puts it down. Parker was definitely spoiled as well, he will not let me out of his site and wants to be held at all times. (Papa tattled on Nana about that one!!) Thank you so much. You guys are the best!!!!

Well i think my husbands fish tank fetish, might be taking a slight halt for awhile. He has finally got a big tank like he wanted(of course there are still bigger ones). He has taken the time to sell all the old fish from the smaller tanks(they are not reef safe and we are going to do a reef tank so we can have coral) and he got the entire tank up and runny after 4 long days of making sure everything is perfect. The biggest worry i had was putting the water in the tank, when the tank is located on carpet in my living room. Thank goodness there was only a small leak that was fixed within minutes. Ryland was all excited to see the water go in because he wanted fish. Roy and Ryland go to the fish store just about every other day to pick out fish, but Roy always told him he had to wait until there was water in the tank. That day came and ryland wanted fish. There are so many reason why you have to wait to put fish in a salt water tank. So we have another tanked called a QT tank that fish and coral have to go in before they go the big tank. The QT tank has nothing in it but PVC pipes for the fish to hide in. Anyways we went to the fish store this morning and ryland picked out fish!!! He picked out NEMO and i wanted DORI, but Dori was a little to expensive to be a tester fish. Pretty much the fish we bought today may not survive, but hopefully they will if my husband has the patients to leave them in the QT tank long enough. So here are the pics of 2 nemos we got today. there is also some copperband fish we got!!!

About a week ago Ryland asked him grandma to make him an apron.(she was making some already). He begged her, so the next day i made a trip to Hobby Lobby( way cool store and cheap fabric). I got fabric and he called his grandma and told her that mom got fabric, come home and make me an apron!!! As soon as she walked in the door, he rushed the fabric to her and showed her to her sewing machine. The next day we BBQed for dinner. Ryland was so excited because when daddy bbq's he wears his apron, so ryland got to wear his too!!! anyways here are the pics.

Our time in Show Low

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Show Low and stayed at my brother n laws family cabin. We headed out late Friday after noon around 6:30. We were headed to Payson to stay at a friends cabin, only to realize someone else got there before us. So luckily we had a back up plan. After arriving in payson about 8:30 pm (traffic into to Payson was crazy) we stopped and got snacks and drinks and continued on to Show Low. We arrived at the cabin around 10:30. Ryland and Parker were both sleeping, until we got out of the car. Ryland thought it was morning and wanted to play and Parker just wanted to eat and go back to bed!! So by midnight we were all situated, cars unloaded and beds ready and waiting for us. The next day we just lounged around,went to breakfast and had a picnic at the lake. That night we tried to roast marshmallows but it was raining. Sunday, again we just lounged and drove home. Roy had to work Monday so we came home earlier. Monday afternoon we went swimming and had a BBQ at my brothers house. Our weekend was relaxing and fun!!!

Myself along with my mother-n-law and sister-n-law have begun to make baby blankets. they are made of a furry fleece on one side and silk on the other. We are selling them for $25 each. They are just the perfect size for the little ones to carry around. they measure about 25 in. by 35 in.

This past week we headed to North Carolina o see my husbands sister get married. Our plane left last Tuesday morning (july 15) at 6:40 am. Well amongst all the craziness of packing my husband was having really bad stomach pain on Monday, the day before we leave. It got so bad that he went to urgent care. He arrived at urgent care and was filling out paper work and one question was, are you having shortness of breathe? when he answered yes to that question, a screen popped up on the computer and said , go to front desk immediately. they took him back and asked some more questions... Then proceeded to tell him he needs to go to the ER. Which was his first plan, but i sent him to urgent care because it was 200 dollars cheaper. Anyways He gets to ER and they do a cat scan. Results---- he has appendicitis. So he has to get his appendix taken out. Just remember this all happening on the day before we leave for North Carolina!!! To make a long story short. The surgeon came in and Roy told her that we have a flight leaving at 6:40 Am tomorrow and i have to be on it. She said ok and within 3 hours surgery was done and we were on our way home. They would normally keep you overnight but Roy insisted on coming home. She said it was ok for him to leave on the plain the next morning and gave him lots of pain pills so he could make it through the week. His instructions were to take it easy and he could not lift anything over 10 lbs for the first week. So leaving town the next day with 3 suitcases weighing the bare minimum of 48 lbs each, a 2yr old , a 2 week old, and now a husband who can not help for anything. Just to let everyone know-- we did not get on the 6:40 am flight the next day. You would have to be kidding, i still had to pack and have enough items in my 5 carry on bags to keep everyone entertained for a 3 hour flight, 2 hour layover, and then another 1 hour flight. We actually left at 11 pm Tuesday night. i figured it would not be so bad, give or take it was an overnight flight and we would all sleep!! besides the 2 hour layover which ended up being 3 1/2 hours because of mechanical problems. Anyways that is only what happened on Monday and Tuesday. We finally got to North Carolina Wed. morning around 11 am. Our trip was great, the wedding was wonderful and we had tons of fun, but i am extremely happy to be home!!! Also extremely exhausted because my husband could not help with much of anything. he could barely even walk, he had to be wheel chaired thru the 2 airports while i had Parker in the sling while pushing Ryland and all 5 carry on bags in the huge double stroller. Definitely rethinking what the heck i was thinking going on this trip with no help!! Here are some pics of the trip. hope you enjoy!!!

Ryland asked if he could feed baby Parker the other day. Well when your breastfeeding, they really can't help. so we decided to give him a bottle the other day so that Ryland could feed Parker. He really enjoyed it. Normally he asks to hold him and 5 seconds later he is done. He fed him the whole bottle. He is such a big helper with his baby brother!!

here are a bunch of pictures taken over the last couple days. Natasha(my niece) brought Ryland some cupcakes and we let him go crazy!!! he had so much fun. he was not to sure about it at first, we had to shove his face in it to get him started, then he took over. Then I was doing dishes one morning and found ryland sitting by parker. when i walked in to the room to see what was going on, ryland looked at me with his mad face and said, " i am just watching my baby Parker, mom" . So i walked away and let him be. a few minutes later i heard him talking to Parker and he was asking him if he was scared and if he was ok. Then he started asking him if he was hungry because he wanted to share his bagel with Parker. I thought that was too cute. Then just more pics of the kids around the house.

Roy and Ryland were out doing yard work the other night and decided it was to hot. So what did they do, they got the hose out. Ryland usually hates getting his face wet, but loved playing in the hose water. Also here are a few pics of the rain storm we had the other day, that lasted a long 10 minutes. i guess all i have to say about that rain storm is , at least we got rain, even if it was only for 10 min.

well as everyone knows (thanks to cassi) Parker arrived on Thursday. We got home last night and everything is going good. Thank you to cassi for updating my blog so quick. He is a very good baby for the most part, he just needs to learn that bed time is not 1 AM!!! Besides that he is a great boy. Ryland is already helping out and loves to be right by my side asking questions about every move Parker makes. Here are a couple pics from the hospital. Oh and Ryland got scrubs and all the doctor equipment and was taking care of his baby brother and mommy!!!

So my grandma made these wonderful Zuchinni boats for lunch one day. They were so good i wanted to make them for dinner for my family one night. I got the recipe from her, but had to ask were she got her zuchinni from. Her zuchinni were much bigger than the ones that i had seen in the grocery stores. Her reply was that my Aunt Sheleen grew them in her garden. She then went on to tell me that my aunt and her family were so sick of zuchinni and gave my grandma some they did not want. Well i love zuchinni and asked that if she ever wanted to get rid of any more that i would take some. So i went to my grandmas house and and she told me that sheleen had left me zuchinni there. But she went on to tell me that she only had one left over and she was hoping it would be big enough to feed me, my husband and mother-n-law. I said it should be fine. Well i walked into the kitchen to get my zuchinni and this is what i saw the biggest zuchinni in the whole world. I looked at it and had to laugh for a minute because i had never seen a zuchinni so big before. I walked into the room and looked at my grandma and said if this is not enough food for three then we must eat like pigs. so anyways that is my story about the gigantic zuchinni. Thank you Sheleen for giving it to me. I can not wait to eat it. I took pics with a tape measure so everyone can see how big it really is. And yes that does say 15 inches. I guess i have never grew zuchinni before. Those of you that have must be laughing at me right now!!!I also took a pic of it next to my keyboard to get the true size of it!!

Waterpark FUN!!!

Today was our first day of many to go to the water park. Cassi, Kayla and I purchased season passes for Sunsplash and Big Surf this summer. We went a couple times last year and the kids had so much fun we decided to do it again this year. So today we went to Sunsplash and had a blast. The kids were a little scared at first and then loved it. Once they realized the water was only a foot deep and the slide was fun without MOM, they would not stop. We also took along my cousin Kennadee, who is 8 yrs. old, to play with the kids. She had a blast and helped out tons with the kids going up and down the slide time after time again. Thank you Kennadee for all your help!!! Hope you will come with us again. Here are a couple pics to recap all of our fun. I only took a couple pics cuz every time i took a pic the kids ran up to me and splashed like crazy. We missed Londyn and Brexen today, but there are many more water park days to come that we can have fun with them too!!! Can't Wait!!!!!

The Cake!!!!

So i was cleaning out the fridge today(because it was time and trash goes tomorrow) and Ryland kept asking what i was doing. He likes to pull a chair up to the counter and help
with what ever i am doing. So
as i was setting stuff out to throw away , he was asking whats this?, why you want to throw it away?, and so on. Well i set out a red velvet cake that no one is eating and decided it was trash too. I turned my back to get more out of the fridge and organize a bit, so i could fit other stuff in there, (rather than just shove it in ) When i turned back around, this is what i saw!!! My Niece, Tasha, and Ryland destroying the cake. Not that i really cared because it was trash anyways, but leave it to Tasha, for anyone who knows about her, to let Ryland play with the cake. I should have known, Tasha is always the one making things with her leftovers and she plays with her food all the time. So anyways i grabbed the camera and took some pics. Ryland thought it was so cool that he could put his fingers in the cake and not get in trouble!! Thanks Tasha!!!

this past weekend my sister Tracy and her Mother-n-law had spa night for the girls. We got to do facials, manicures and pedicures. It was so much fun. Oh and there was food. You know you can count on me when there is going to be good food!!! I think just about everyone did a mud mask. That was pretty cool. here are a couple pics of that night.

Yesterday (Saturday) morning Ryland went over to my sister-n-laws house. if any of you know Buffie and Tasha teach Ryland everything he knows!!! So this morning he brought me Brownie cakes and 2 pictures he made. When i asked him who helped he said Buffie and Sasha. they helped him make me 2 pictures with glitter, food and glue!!! So here is my mothers day gift. It is so cute. Thank You for helping him, I love it!!!

Ok the real facts on Sydnee are as follows- Born at 7:47 am, 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 19 in. long. I went to see her and she is so adorable. Cassi and i were kind of having a photo shoot with her. Unfortunately here mom would not let us change her clothes. (maybe tomorrow). Mom and baby are doing great. Tracy is just sore and tired.(her pain medication was wearing off when we arrived!!) Sydnee has tons of light colored hair and really long toes. (and for the record she looks nothing like her big sister, whom looks like her daddy and Sydnee looks just like Tracy.) Anywayz here are some pics.

Monday night we celebrated my grandmas birthday. We went to the park and had cake and ice cream. The kids had a blast playing on the slides and just being able to run free. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY and we love you so much!!

Ryland is taking refresher courses from ISR Swim again this year. Ryland and Madisen took the class for the first time last year. Although they may have not loved it last year they learned alot. So this year they are taking a refresher course and after the first week , they are doing pretty good. Hopefully this time will only last 2 weeks as the first time it was 5 weeks for them to learn everything. Here are some pics. Ryland cries during his time, but not as bad as last year!!!

Yesterday(Thurs) we went to Bounce U with Rylands preschool. We went last Thursday and the kids had so much fun , that there preschool teacher decided to take everyone back. So all 7 of the kids loaded up and we headed down there. They have a boxing ring, obstacle course. a mini slide and a really big slide that goes really fast. The big slide is where the kids want to be the entire time. Bounce U has preschool days, so no kids older than 7 can go and it lasts for 2 hours, 9:30 to 11:30. They also give the kids snack and juice halfway thru the time. It is a great way to waste some energy. The best part of the whole thing is that the parents can sit back and relax. There is a worker who helps the kids out if needed. well that is what is suppose to happen , but we are usually on top of the kids when they need help. , because when a strange man comes towards your kid , they usually freak out more than they already are!!! If you are thinking about going, one word of advice YOU HAVE TO WEAR SOCKS IN THE BOUNCER!! WE were not informed of that the first time and had to buy socks there. they are somewhere around $3.00. But Bounce U is a great way to get out of the house and let the kids run around!

Our time in Long Beach!

On our way home from Sacramento we stopped in Long Beach , do that Roy could go to the Xango convention being held there. We got there Friday afternoon and left Saturday night at 10 pm. It was a quick stop. So Friday we walked around the shops, took a bike ride and had dinner with a bunch of people from Xango. Then Saturday Roy had convention from 9 to 5 and then from 6:30 to 9:30.(why we did not leave until 10 pm). Ryland and I went shop hunting in the morning, trying to find little shops along the beach to look at. Well i guess Long Beach is not that kind of place. It is more of a business vacation place than anything. So Then we met up with Roy for lunch. After that we headed to the Aquarium of the Pacific. (a Mini sea world). Not exactly my favorite place, but it kept us occupied until Roy was done at 5. We then met Roy for dinner at BUBBA GUMPS. Great food. I then attempted to take Ryland to the last Xango convention, because i wanted to here the speakers that were speaking. Well he lasted about one hour and then we fond other moms in the lobby to sit and chat with for the next 2 hours. We then proceeded home about a 5 hour drive. We arrived home about 3 am after dealing with Ryland throwing up all over in the back of the car and seeing 6 accidents on the way home and witnessing one of them. So there was no way we were going to fall asleep on the drive home. Anyways, that completes our trip to California, and let me say I AM GLAD TO BE HOME!!! no more vacations until the baby is born when we go to North Carolina in July.

Ryland and the Easter Bunny

So Thursday night about 5 pm my husband decides he wants to leave a day early to go to California. We were suppose to leave Friday night. Well as we never leave when planned , we left thursday night about 8 pm. It is a 11 hour drive to Sacremento from our house. we perfer to drive all night because then Ryland will sleep the whole trip. As of 5 pm thursday night , i had nothing ready, so we packed, ate dinner and headed out. We finally arrived Friday morning about 6:30 am. It was not a bad drive,but a very long one. Yesterday we caugtht up on sleep all day and hung out. Today we went to the Trails Annual Easter Egg Hunt.( thier nieghborhood) Their whole neighborhood makes up the town they live in Cool, CA. Ryland and Joey had so much fun. A fire truck came and the kids got to play in it. Ryland did not like the fire truck to much, he would rather play on the slide. Well tomorrow for easter , kristina(sister-n-law) planned an easter egg hunt here at the house and she is going to make a big dinner. So that is how we are going to spend our easter.Ryland is just excited about the candy. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!!!!!
